In the upper Cรดte-d'Or region, on the Crรฉmant Route and at the gateway to the Champagne region, this renovated former grape harvest shed offers this 18th-century stone house plenty of character. The ground floor features Burgundy flagstones, exposed stone, and French ceilings. The living and dining room features a wood-burning stove and sofa bed (sleeps 2 extra), and a fully equipped kitchen combining modern comfort with authenticity thanks to the beautiful stone sink. A large bedroom with a double bed. A shower room with a walk-in shower and separate toilet. Upstairs: a bedroom with two twin beds (80x200), a shower room, and a toilet. Baby equipment is available: a travel cot, high chair, and a bathtub. The house and its outbuildings, which are not accessible, boast a vast enclosed plot of over 1,000 mยฒ with a vegetable garden and a 600 mยฒ enclosed courtyard at the front. The village of Molesme boasts a rich and prestigious past: its abbey was founded in the 11th century by Robert, later known as Robert de Molesme, before he founded the Abbey of Cรฎteaux, the cradle of the Cistercian order. Numerous historical sites are worth visiting: the abbeys of Fontenay and Clairvaux, the Chรขtillonnais-Trรฉsor Museum of Vix, the chรขteaux of Tanlay and Ancy-le-Franc.
