Summary: We had difficulty finding it at first. Apparently there are 2 Rue LeClaire streets in Montreal. We went to the wrong one first via Apple Maps on my iPhone. The host was easily reached and helped us find the actual location. The six character letter and number combo at the end is imports at the end. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood close to the river and parks. But it’s not in good shape inside. Basic necessities were fine, beds were comfortable but the rest could be best described as bleak and barren. The electricity didn’t seem to work in the second bedroom, so no lights or air conditioner. The toilet chain came off after one flush and the sink faucet is unattached from the basin. No scrubby in the sink to clean the dishes. Just not a lot of effort or care put into making the place attractive. It was ok for one night, but honestly, it’s a dump.
