Jizera Mountains
Situated at an altitude of 1,012 metres, the Ješted ski resort is the highest elevation in the densely wooded Jeseníky Mountains in northern Bohemia. The eleven downhill runs with a total length of 9 km, most of which are more suitable for experienced skiers, can be 98 per cent covered with snow when there is a lack of snow. Snowboarders are also welcome here. In Tanvaldský Spicák, one of the most important winter sports resorts in the Czech Republic, blue, red and one black piste lead through the forests - a very special skiing experience. The well-groomed pistes offer the right descent for every level. Freestylers can let off steam in the Drake Northwave Snowpark and there is a children's park for kids. All in all, the Jizera Mountains are an absolute paradise for cross-country skiers with over 170 kilometres of trails and more than 20 access points.
