Enjoy casual downtime around the stone fireplace in the great room or head downstairs to the game and home gym for fun and fitness with foosball, a game table, smart TV, and assortment of exercise equipment. The loft makes for a cozy reading nook or a great space for younger with a TV and VHS player. The well-appointed full kitchen has all the essentials you need for gathering with meals at the adjacent dining table. Outside, the wraparound porch comes furnished for outdoor living and a gas grill provides the makings for a backyard barbecue.
Located on the sparkling shores of Lake Lure, Rumbling Bald is one of Western North Carolina's only multi-course golf destinations. A short drive from Asheville and Charlotte, it features two contrasting 18-hole layouts designed to delight and challenge golfers of all skills. Rumbling Bald's Wellness Center serves as the resort's central hub with amenities, family activities, and self-care options available. The gift shop features local goods and sundries. THINGS TO KNOW
-Lake Lure is currently not accessible for summer 2025 due to continued clean up from Helene, but the local Lake Lure community welcomes visitors and looks forward to hosting you.This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.Lake Lure is a man made lake that is drawn down 12 feet each winter season for maintenance. This will impact shorelines. Water will be back up to normal levels in mid April. Please be sure to reach out directly to organizations/businesses for current hours of operation.Lake Lure notice: Pontoon boats and non-motorized vessels may be no longer than 28 feet. All other boats, such as ski boats, fishing boats, deck boats, etc., may be no longer than 21 feet.Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and pontoon boats can be rented from a local service from Memorial Week-Thanksgiving.
RUMBLING BALD GUEST PASSES
-Guest Passes can be picked up daily between 8:30am and 7:30pm at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby of Legends on the Lake. The name listed on the reservation must be present to collect the passes.It is preferred that reservations are submitted at least 5 days prior to arrival. Any last-minute requests will likely result in delays receiving your guest passes.Your reservation will need to include the number of guests 12 and over so that Rumbling Bald will provide the correct number of passes. Passes will need to be picked up during business hours from Rumbling Bald guest services. There is a $50 fee if any passes need replaced.
If you cancel: Within 24 hours of booking, you'll receive a full refund. 30 days or more before your trip, you'll receive a refund of any rental payments you've made, minus the booking fee. Within 30 days of your trip, refunds are only given if you've purchased Trip Protection and the reason for your cancellation falls within its guidelines (see
