The Space:
Surrounded by trees in a tranquil setting, this charming 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom cabin has all the comforts you need for your group of up to 6. The cabin boasts plush furnishings and large windows that fill the rooms with natural light and provides scenic views of the surrounding trees. After a day of adventures, return to this comfortable home where you can spread out in the spacious main living space, connect with your group in the living room, and unwind out on the private deck while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
When you first arrive at the home, you will take 10 steps to reach the entrance. Off the front door, you will find a mud-room space with a bench and coat hooks, making it convenient to unload your outdoor gear before settling into the home. Just outside the mud room is the foyer, where you will find stairs leading to the main and lower level of the home.
Head up to the main level and be greeted by a bright and inviting space filled with soaring windows, exposed wood beams, and a lovely stone hearth fireplace. In the living room, you will find a plush 3-person couch, two sofa chairs, and a coffee table situated around the fireplace. The inviting room is a great, dynamic space for your group to socialize in while you warm up by the lovely fireplace and enjoy the views out the windows overlooking the trees. Or, enjoy a cozy movie night on the 60” TV while you snuggle up on the comfortable furnishings.
From the living room, you can step out the double doors onto the spacious deck. With a BBQ located outside, this spot is perfect for summer BBQ’s while you enjoy the gorgeous views over the trees. You and your guests will love stepping outside to take in the fresh mountain air and unobstructed views of the surrounding nature.
Back inside, you will find the fully equipped kitchen and dining area just off from the living room. In the spacious kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal with your friends and family. The kitchen features a full range of stainless steel appliances, spacious countertops, and a large kitchen island with three bar stools, providing the perfect spot to grab a quick snack or relax while chatting with the chef. To the side of the kitchen is the dining area, where you will find a wooden table with seating for 6 on top of an oversized rug. The table is surrounded by windows, so you can enjoy the lovely views while you dine with your group!
Off of the kitchen, you will find a half-bathroom and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer for guest use.
When you are ready to settle in for the night, you will find three comfortable bedrooms in the home. The first bedroom is located on the upper level, just off the kitchen. As soon as you step into the bedroom you will be impressed with the floor-to-ceiling windows making you feel as if you are sleeping outside under the trees! The bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, a reading chair, matching nightstands with lamps, and a large dresser. Adding to the comfort of this bedroom is a private balcony, so you can wake up and step right outside to take in the morning sunshine! The bedroom also includes an attached full bathroom with a spacious double-sink vanity and a shower.
The two other bedrooms are located on the lower floor, where you will also find a full bathroom with a shower/bathtub combo for shared use. The first bedroom is a bunk room that features two twin-size and two full-sized beds, making it a great room for sharing. This bedroom provides ample storage space for your personal items with a dresser and a closet. This room also includes a 44" TV, so you can tuck into bed and unwind with a movie before calling it a night. The second bedroom boasts a queen-size bed as well as a large desk tucked underneath a window overlooking the trees, making it a peaceful spot to catch up on any remote work. The home features 530 Mbps Wi-Fi, so you can easily stay connected during your stay. Rounding out the bedroom is a dresser and closet, providing space for you to unpack your items for a comfortable stay.
Lastly, you will love the private backyard, perfect for those traveling with children, giving them an additional space to run and play while you relax on the deck!

Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, which include a private unfenced backyard. Guests will also have access to some wonderful shared amenities such as a private beach, a shared pool, and tennis courts.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the beautiful Chamberlands neighborhood, the home is surrounded by a beautiful forested area and is in an excellent location for enjoying everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. In the winter months, you are minutes away from the slopes, with Homewood Ski Resort just a quick 4-minute drive away! Or make a 25-minute drive and be at some of the best slopes in the area, Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, Tahoe Ski Resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center are all 25 minutes away. If you are looking for some great XC skiing or snowshoeing, you are just minutes away from the popular trails at Paige Meadows, 15 minutes away.
During the summer months, head to Chambers Landing, a beautiful small beach just a 1.5 mile away where you can spend the day playing in the water and on the lovely sand beach of Lake Tahoe. Before heading home, grab dinner at the popular restaurant and bar located by the beach. Or, head up to Commons Beach, a popular four-acre beach and park less than 15 minutes away. Here you can rent any type of watercraft imaginable, and enjoy great swimming, and BBQ areas. Or, make a quick 5-minute drive up the road to the famous Sunnyside Restaurant and Marina, where you can find great food and watercraft rentals. If you are interested in high alpine hiking, Paige Meadows is only a 14-minute drive up north, where you will find beautiful meadows lined with a vast network of trails that connect you to the Pacific Crest Trail and the Tahoe Rim Trail.
For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe City is less than a 15-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, and live music. When it comes to a great location for everything Lake Tahoe has to offer, this house cannot be beaten!
Getting Around:
Guests at this home can easily explore all the area has to offer even without a vehicle thanks to the public transportation TART stop that is just a half-mile walk from your front door! A quick ten-minute walk will take you to the TART stop HWY 89 at Chambers Landing which runs every hour. Be in Tahoe City with a 10-minute bus ride and be able to easily connect to other routes taking you around the surrounding areas and to the ski resorts. For those with a vehicle, enjoy the home’s close driving proximity to Tahoe City which is 8 miles away, and even use the FREE park-and-ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City.
