2 Bedroom Apartment in Viehhofen
Accommodation description : Just outside of Viehhofen, towards the well-known Saalbach, you will find this holiday home on a quiet and sunny southern slope. In the house, two apartments are very nicely and high-quality furnished. This apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed and a double bed with bunk beds respectively. This makes it ideal for 6 people. The spacious living room with open kitchen is cosy and gives direct access to the balcony. Peace and quiet, lovely isn't it?
The apartment is located next to a working farm. This is of course very nice for children who are allowed to work in the stable and to be with the animals. For the summer months, the Viehhofer summer card is included. This offers many advantages such as a boat trip on the lake in Zell am See, up to free use of the ski lift for hikers, but also with the mountain bike.
A new 10-seater gondola lift was built in Viehhofen in 2019/2020. You can board this lift, called the ZellamseeXpress, to cross to Zell am See-Kaprun, braving Schmittenhöhe. If you spend a day skiing in the Saalbach area, the descent from this is also up to this lift station. By ski bus, you'll be back home in a few minutes, as you can easily reach the lifts of the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski area with the free ski bus. So if you go on a winter sports holiday here, you have 2 beautiful and large ski areas right at your feet!
But it is also a great place to be in other seasons. The well-known places Zell am See, Kaprun and Saalbach-Hinterglemm can be reached within minutes. On a hot summer day, we'd recommend you take a refreshing dip in the Zeller lake near Zell am See. And don't forget to bring your hiking boots! Go for beautiful hikes in the unspoilt nature and mountain world around Viehhofen. From the house, you can walk straight into the forest and look for the first typical Austrian Alm
