Positive: The "palafito" house is really lovely. They kept an old-time ambience that matches the beauty of the house and the view from the dining room. There is a place to park (only for 2 vehicles though). Staff was friendly and solution oriented. The location is unbeatable, and encourages you to explore Castro by foot.
Negative: Management should prioritize attention to detail regarding cleanliness and maintenance. Upon arrival, the bathroom was not up to standard; the WC had not been properly cleaned after the previous guest, and the washbasin was dripping. While the staff was keen to resolve the issue and offered a room upgrade, I had to negotiate to stay in the new room for the duration of my two-night stay to avoid the hassle of packing and unpacking. On the positive side, I appreciated their effort to find a satisfactory solution, although the initial experience was disappointing.
Summary: Lovely "palafito" hotel, but still requires more attention to details to make it perfect
