Positive: The hotel, its athletics and staff were absolutely perfect. So relaxing, welcoming, great value and just what we needed. Zaton beach is about 10/15 mins walk, a few bars and restaurants and is amazing for sunset photos. Nin is close enough but I’d recommend taxis there and back, walking back has no pavement in lots of places so could be danegerous. Uber and Bolt are key for this location to get places. We did a boat trip which we booked on zaton beach, it was amazing, a full day but left from Zadar so again, uber was key.
Negative: We travelled without a car so this won’t apply to everyone and it’s not a fault on the hotel, there were “shops” close by other then a beautiful bakery, ice cream shops and a few bars. But if you need things like milk, juice cigarettes etc for the room these aren’t writhing walking distance (the hotel has a bar but they don’t serve good, crisps etc. they cover breakfast with is a continental at €15 pp but after this there aren’t snacks or food available). They do how we offer free bikes which is amazing, so if someone is able they could go collect them. WiFi was pretty poor and air con was noisy, but the good outweighed any negative for us for sure.
Summary: Hidden little treasure, great staff, balconies and pool. We are already planning our next trip :)
