Summary: I came to Panama in December 2025 for a quick, solo, relaxing, pre-Christmas vacation. I usually stay in Casco Viejo, so I was looking forward to this apartment in the heart of the city. The location did not disappoint! You really can't ask for a more centralized location, in the heart of everything. Everything was within walking distance - food/drink, museums, shopping, nightlife, etc. One issue, however: I would not recommend apartment #4. The view from the balcony is of an abandoned building, the bedroom was LOUD in both the morning and late into the night (I think there's a club next door and the walls are not insulated), the kitchen was not well stocked (no corkscrew, salt/pepper, etc.), and the living room furniture is not very comfortable. Because the location is so great, I would recommend this rental, however be sure to ask for apartment 1, 2, or 3. I can't speak for the noise level, but I think those are on the better side of the building.
