Positive: The beach was nice.
Negative: The apartment and location looks nothing like on the photos. The surrounding between apartment and the beach is not nice and is really dusty. And the apartment is really just an old cottage painted white. I supppose a couple without kids might rate the place as 6 or 7. But we arrived with 2 kids and expected apartment with glass windows to prevent mosquitos. However there are just holes in windows with wooden shutters. So you can select to have light with mosquitos flying in or just darkness... Really not pleasant. And in the bathroom, there is nothing to close the hole with, so it was full of insects. As we had 2 small kids and the place did not look as on photos, we left. And then we found out, that on booking you communicate with an agency that is managing the place for owner. And they simply dont care. So when we asked at least for 50%refund, they simply did not care. Respectively wrote us to travel back to place and negotiate with someone in person.... They did not care about our situation with 2 small kids nor reflected on hiw their presentation of the place is misleading. Overall I assume they work like this: - they upload the place on booking - organize couple of fake superb reviews - when they start recieving reviews facing reality, they put it away from Booking and reintroduce again with clean slate. Thus place really cannot have 8+ rating points. We are used to sleep in tents. We travelled through Nicaragua, Belize and Guatemala and stayed at very simple places. So this is not a review of some posh couple uaed to stay at Hilton... This place is strange, not worth visiting especially as they do not care if you have problem with it. I am sorry that we rushed to leave so our kids can sleep and we forgot to take real photos. Tjis was a mistake.
