Positive: I was greeted by the very welcoming host at the village pier and he took me to his house. It’s a typical village house so it’s a great opportunity to experience a village life with a local family. Both the host and his wife are very friendly and kind people. They provided free tea, coffee and fruit and also cooked delicious food for me. The host is also a ranger so he took me trekking to see Komodo dragons. It was truly memorable experience! I’d would recommend this place.
Negative: Facilities are basic as expected in a remote location like this which is absolutely fine.
