The Space:
Barwon Retreat is a well located large family holiday home, a short walk to the main shops and 15-20 minute drive to Queenscliff, Pt. Lonsdale, Geelong, Torquay, and Portarlington Olive Groves and Wineries, one hour drive to Lorne via the Great Ocean Road.
A free shuttle bus runs around Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove hourly over summer, so you can jump aboard for a local tour, visit shops, lifesaving club or just trip from Barwon Heads to Ocean Grove... the bus leaves just near to Barwon Retreat.
Barwon Retreat is ideally set up for two families... featuring 4 bedrooms, main with queen bed, ensuite with spa, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, 3rd and 4th bedroom each have two sets of bunks, sleeping a total of 12 persons in comfort and style.
There are two bathrooms which include shower, bath, and corner spa, two toilets, these support the four bedrooms. The kitchen dining living area has TV, DVD, video, stereo, and the kitchen has microwave and is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, and glasses for your stay. With Free NBN Internet provided.
Barwon Retreat has a 2nd living area with billiard table, this has an enclosed log fire and the main living area is heated with electric panel heating and open fire place for winter months. For summer there's split system air conditioning.
An outdoor deck leads from the kitchen and dining area and has BBQ and outdoor seating for 10 persons. A verandah the full length of the house provides a shady retreat for lazy summer daze and nights, for a quiet reading spot.
Barwon Retreat caters for family groups who require a large holiday haven for week-end or weekly holiday breaks in comfortable surroundings in a central Barwon Heads Location.
Pets are welcome however we ask you please advise us on how many, breed and the age.
