Open concept custom built home takes full advantage of the magnificent views and walking distance to all Kicking Horse amenities. The home features high end materials throughout including slate, granite and beautiful rustic hardwood. The furnishings in all rooms are exquisite including hand built king and queen sized beds and numerous large leather sofas. Each bathroom is slate tiled with baths and showers with numerous shower heads and body sprays. The floor plan encourages a very social experience inside and out with its openness and proud display of the surrounding beauty. Less than a 5 min walk to the run that takes you to the base of the mountain for easy downhill access. Walking distance to all amenities. Steps from the cross country ski trail. Fully furnished with all that you would need for a lengthy luxurious stay.
MAX OCCUPANCY 8 including small children (8 adult max)...primary renters must be at least 25 years of age. Home is ideal for 1-2 families or 4 couples.
LOCATION:
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is a 3 hour drive west from Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway that winds through the Rocky Mountains. Along the highway, you will pass through Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and Field. It is located 10 minutes up from the town of Golden BC.
ACCESS TO RESORT AMENITIES:
Day lodge and gondola, restaurants, shopping, general store 5 min walk away. Golf, skiing, white water rafting, heli-skiing, horse back riding, hiking, mountain biking in the area. Cross country skiing trails located directly behind home. Many other surrounding golf courses within a 1.5 hour drive. Cross country skiing is accessible right out the back door of the Chalet - 20 km of maintained trails at the Dawn Mountain Nordic Ski Area!

Large kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen has an enormous eating bar with seating for 4, designed for entertaining.

Seats 8 comfortably on the custom rustic wood table, what a showpiece. Amazing mountain views as you are surrounded by huge floor to ceiling windows on 3 sides of the table.
SLEEPING AREAS:
Upstairs Master Bedroom: 1 King Bed (sleeps 2). Large master bedroom has great views of the mountains through 3 windows. The room has a custom hand-built furniture package including a sleigh king bed, built-in armoire, and chest. The adjoining en suite features an impressive double shower with slate tile surround, double shower heads and body jets.
Bedroom 2: 1 King Bed (sleeps 2). The upstairs bedroom features great views of the mountains and a custom hand-built furniture set similar to the one in the master bedroom. The adjacent bathroom has a tub and double shower with body jets and is slate tiled throughout.
Bedroom 3: 1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Lower level third bedroom with heated flooring, and an adjacent bathroom. The bathroom has a tub and shower with body jets and is slate tiled throughout.
Loft: Massive loft overlooking great room offers a great view of the mountains through two large windows. The room has a gas fireplace and an entertainment system including 65 inch TV. The room offers adequate privacy and is adjacent to the upstairs bathroom.
Bedroom 4: 1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Lower level third bedroom with heated flooring, and an adjacent bathroom. The bathroom has a tub and shower with body jets and is slate tiled throughout.
BATHROOMS:
Bathroom 1- has toilet, shower and one basin. Located off the deck for use after the hot tub, and located on the main floor for use of guests
Bathroom 2 - has a toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin. Located on the second floor, slate enclosed soaker tub.
Bathroom 3 - is an en suite and has a toilet, shower and one basin. Slate enclosed large stand-up stall with glass door and has a double-headed shower plus 4 spray jets to make an amazing experience.
Bathroom 4 -has a toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin. Lower floor slate surround soaker tub.
