As you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting open-plan living room, complete with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The cabin’s interior is decorated with cosy accents, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. At the rear of the lodge, you’ll find a spacious bedroom with a TV, providing a comfortable and peaceful retreat after a long day exploring the area, there is a separate modern shower room. The front of the lodge features a lovely veranda with seating, where you can sit back and relax with a drink while taking in the peace and quiet, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of activities.
The town of Haltwhistle itself is just a short walk away and boasts a range of attractions for visitors to enjoy. There are several traditional pubs, a great cocktail bar and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine, as well as a range of shops and amenities. There is an excellent leisure centre with heated open air swimming pool and cycle hire in the town, with pony trekking nearby. There is a regular train and bus service from the town to Newcastle, The Metro Centre and Carlisle, means that you can leave the car behind.
