Positive: In spite of some negative publicity about travel safety in Ecuador, we travelled to several parts of the country and never felt unsafe. The location in the old town centre allows you to walk to all of the old city attractions. There are restaurants nearby to suit a variety of tastes. Our room was spacious, and we had very comfortable beds. There was plenty of hot water and excellent wi-fi coverage. There are great views from the rooftop dining area. Casacarpdm being in the old town is a great cultural experience. But the best feature of all is the host. Fernanda. She goes out of her way to make sure your stay is enjoyable and stress free. She organised a number of day trips for us at very good prices, with a safe driver and good guides, suggested good eateries for us, and helped set up our sim card. Unfortunately, we had to seek emergency medical attention, Fernanda gave up a whole day to take us there and provided translations and support for us. She is an absolutely amazing host.

Negative: There was nothing at all.
