Summary: José very kindly greeted us. The guest house, located on his property, was very inviting to enter. His wife had baked a cake for us, and he had some fruit in a basket, water and a bottle of wine; which was very much appreciated. The location is about a 10 min drive to Viana do Castelo. We loved the location because it was quiet and felt very relaxing to be away from a city centre. While it wasn't beach weather while we were there, there are a few nearby that are well worth visiting regardless. José recommended Praia da Arda and it was absolutely beautiful to go see.The house itself was a nice size for us, and the grounds are stunning. We didn't have much time to sit outside and eat, but wish we did because it was serene.All in all, we would absolutely return. Thank you so much José and wife.
