Positive: My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Casa Rossini in Avola. The neighborhood is wonderfully authentic, not touristy at all, allowing you to experience real Italian life. You’ll often see locals sitting outside, chatting, watching the world go by, while Sicilian grandmas talk and children play in the street. The house itself is fantastic—stylishly designed with a blend of Scandinavian and Mediterranean influences. It’s also exceptionally well-equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay: air conditioning, a washing machine, a fully stocked kitchen (oven, cooking utensils, and basic pantry items like salt, spices, coffee, pasta, homemade olive oil..), and a lovely terrace with a BBQ and grill, and even beach chairs. The location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach, with a Coop supermarket only a minute away. The city center and the best pizza place (Area 51) are also within a 10-minute walk. Parking is convenient, right in front of the house, which is a great bonus. Our hosts, Teresa and Lorene, were very kind and welcoming. Lorena greeted us with a bottle of local Avola wine, which was a wonderful surprise. Communication with them was excellent; they responded promptly to all our questions. We highly recommend this accommodation.
Negative: One thing to note is that the area is home to locals, which contributes to its charming atmosphere. However, there is one neighbor, a kind person who unfortunately suffers from a condition that causes him to make loud noises on the street. It is not anyone's fault, but it’s worth being aware that you might be woken up by some noise in the mornings.
