Positive: So many things to like about the property. We travelled with friends, both of whom have reduced mobility, and this property was ideal. All of it is on one floor, with a shallow ramped front entrance, and one bathroom has been adapted for disabled people. Even the stairs to the delightful roof area are shallow with handrails and we used the roof every night. The bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage, comfy beds and quiet A/C. The kitchen was large, providing ample space to sit down for breakfast, prepare meals, etc. Plenty of storage for shopping, good size fridge, kitchen table large enough for six in comfort. We have given full marks for location because we wanted a quiet, more remote property. Yet, this place is less than a minute from the main road which means that getting to shops, tourist attractions and beaches is easy and quick. Scicli, Punta Secca, and Donnafugata are all less than 30 minutes drive. There are plenty of large supermarkets within 10 minutes drive and the Cantina Armosa vineyard is only 12 minutes away and well worth a visit. The sea view from the roof terrace is wonderful!
Negative: No real complaints but we would have appreciated some instructions on how to use the many televisions and how to access the various boxes with flashing lights! The barbecue on the roof is in a great place but lacks ventilation so that we never managed to get enough heat from it.
Summary: Peace and quiet with a wonderful sea view.
