A charming property in the heart of Joyce Country in a quiet and secluded spot. Interiors are spacious and beautifully furnished providing a comfortable cottage for four guests to enjoy this beautiful part of Co.Gallway.
The location is stunning with the Maumturk Mountains (2370 ft), Western Way, Twelve Pins, Wild Atlantic Way, sandy beaches and sailing all within easy reach. This is a beautiful and secluded area, the village of Leenane, 12 miles away, is situated in spectacular scenery at the head of Killary Harbour. A good place for stocking up on provisions and stopping off for lunch at the pub or one of the restaurants. Get out and about and explore this scenic coastline and visit Killary Harbour and Kylemore Abbey. This is a great base for discovering the spectacular scenery with its many lakes, mountains and interesting and varied coastline and dark night skies.
There’s plenty of adventure on the doorstep too, hire a boat, go sailing, climbing or take to the saddle and explore this beautiful landscape horseback. There’s also excellent salmon and trout fishing on Lough Corrib so we’re told!
