The apartment is on the 1st and 2nd floor of the Chalet and accessible by lift or stairs. On the top floor there is a big fully equipped kitchen with professional facilities (Steamer, plate warmer, microwave, oven, grill-cooking plate, Electric-hob, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, Nespresso Coffee machine, Electric water kettle, Kitchen machine, Blender, Tea maker, Filter coffee machine and wine cooler)
Open lounge area with wood burning fire place and magnificent Matterhorn views and access to a big balcony with lounge chairs and balcony furniture. Dining area with wooden dining table that comfortably seats 6 to 10 people on leather seats.
Separate TV room, which can be closed off by sliding doors, with Flat screen Cable TV (English channels) and surround system for the full movie experience. The Bose surround system throughout the upper floor offers you the possibility to listen to your favourite music in the lounge area, dining area and kitchen.
On the lower floor of the apartment there are 3 double bedrooms with twin box spring beds, Bose radio/iPod 4 system, safe and separate balcony with furniture. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Washer/dryer in the apartment can be used on request.
The duplex apartment is for 6 persons and can be combined with apartment Hรถrnli next door to offer accommodation for 12 people due to interconnecting doors.
The shared Wellness area on the lower ground floor contains a Finish Sauna, Steam room, Massage room, separate toilet, changing room and swimming pool with jet-stream and massage jets. Thanks to the jet-stream you can use the swimming pool for long distance swimming with a view of the Matterhorn.
The Chalet lies in the lovely area of Obere Tuftra on the outskirts of the village where the old chapel dates back to the 17th century and the old sheep barns are burnt black by the strong Valais sun. It is a 15-minute stroll to the village centre or 5 minutes in the electric ski-bus, bus stop is 100 meters away from the Chalet.

The guest will be picked up on arrival at the train station of Zermatt and brought to the apartment by one of our hosts. During their stay we are always available for any question during office hours (9.00-12.00/14.00-18.00) by phone or in person.
Zermatt is a car free village, public transportation (electric bus or taxi) is available.
