The 1900sf cabin sits on 1 acre & borders Tonto National Forest at the base of the Mollogon Rim. (6400ft) The whispering ponderosa pines create a quiet, peaceful environment to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

Rim lakes are close and there are endless hiking options right out the back door!

Elk, deer and other wildlife often pass through the property.

Leisure Stay Retreat features rustic decor, wonderful linens and comfortable beds. Kitchen is fully stocked. The back deck has a picnic table (umbrella available) and a BBQ. A second picnic table sits under the trees.

Verizon is the ONLY cell service available. Hotspot from your phone for internet. You must have Verizon or Straight Talk.

Provided is a selection of DVD's with TV, CD's with Bose sound system, games, puzzles, and books.

The cabin is nestled in a small, quiet community. The neighbors are close nit and watch out for each others cabins. Our neighbors are wonderful so PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND AWARE OF YOUR NOISE LEVEL. There is a 15 mph speed limit in our neighborhood. The last few miles are maintained dirt road.

There are times when the National Forest institutes a NO BURN (no campfires even on private land) and rarely it will close access to the National Forest all together or parts of it. It is usually seasonal and determined by the amount of moisture received. It is your responsibility to research this as it can change at a moments notice. There are different National forests bordering each other and they each can have different policies and restrictions in place. Please do your due diligence when planning your activities when visiting rim country. Contact the National Forest Service directly. (Tonto and Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests)

Leisure Stay Retreat is - 30 miles from the Rt 87 & Rt 260 intersection in Payson. The cabin is 6 miles off Rt 260 and the last few miles are dirt roads.

Tesla EV charging stations are now in Payson at the Rt 87 & Rt 260 intersection in the Basha's parking lot.
