Welcome to the Retro Rainbow Herb River Hideaway! Our 2-bedroom, 1-bath home on the Herb River offers river access just a short walk away. Recently updated, it features a living room sofa that converts to a queen bed, allowing us to host up to 8 guests. Located just 8.5 miles from downtown Savannah and a scenic 30-minute drive to Tybee Island, you'll enjoy stunning views and easy access to all the charm Savannah offers. We’ve included both professional photos and real-time images for transparency. We’d love to host you!
The Space:
Welcome to "Canary Cottage"! Part of the Retro Rainbow homes on the Herb River. Once inside, you will find an open concept layout. The living room is a cozy space with a queen-size sleeper sofa, two arm chairs and a large SmartTV. Off the living room, you will find the kitchen which has everything you need to settle in and feel "at home," as well as a dining space with seating for 4. As you continue through the home, you will find two bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a king-size bed. Bedrooms #2 has two full-sized beds. A full bathroom (with shower) completes the inside.
Outside guests can enjoy a small side yard, perfect for guests with children or pets!
For dock access, walk across the street. There is a little parking lot with a Patriot Family Homes sign between the condos and the orange duplex. We have a community game area with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more!

The Neighborhood:
Our location on the marsh provides the perfect back drop for what makes Savannah so charming! Large mature trees dripping in Spanish Moss, breezy nights and a location that is close to dining, shopping and adventure.
Getting Around:
We recommend driving and offer parking for our guests. However, Uber and Lyft service the area as well.
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 21 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated and contact free. However, we are only a phone call away if you need anything!
