Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Convenience/geography to where we needed to work, location near restaurants and other stores. Bar seemed nice, even though we didn't use it. A reasonable price for two nights, especially since it was an urgent booking.
Negative: Floor in our room was sticky, as if it'd been cleaned with water that wasn't fresh/clean; Automatic doors to main lobby from outside had a lot of trouble opening and closing - I had to force one open manually just to walk into the hotel; the tile at the sink had clear, obvious pencil and red marker marks on it from where the installer scribed it, but didn't bother to clean it off once finished; the a/c vent on the wall looked as if it'd been pulled off at one point; strange smells in hallway leading to elevator on first floor; staff had difficulty adding our Hilton membership # upon check-in; still not sure they ever got it; TV remote in the room was missing the battery door - batteries kept falling out; none of this was a deal breaker, but it did add to an overall feeling of neglect to the property. I've stayed there twice before in years past and it just seemed much nicer then.
Summary: Decent, but has seen better days...
