Positive: This place was quite costly and we were excited about birding the property. All the pictures of the hummingbirds is what made us book here. Unfortunately, that didn't work out.
Negative: We were all ready for the trails and doing some birdwatching/photography. However, we were locked out of the trails and in order to have access we had to wait until the time when birds are not as active (mid-day). No trail access for the dawn chorus. And then, we were asked to pay on top of that. "For our safety" - we found that a bit insulting. We only booked overnight and were off to the next place at 6:30am so this place was a dud for someone who likes nature. We only could walk around the buildings from dawn til 6:30am since ever trail was gated up. We left to better birding without breakfast and feeling like we wasted a lot of money.
Summary: Disappointed and not for someone who enjoys nature.
