Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It was a very clean and well-kept property. Although they were undergoing repairs on the Woodland wing, they were able to keep the entire environment clean. And it was a "springy" January with temperatures above zero, mush and melting snow all round, still were able to keep the exterior clean. There was no in-house dining, so had to go to nearby restaurants, but they at least gave us a 10% discount on breakfast and dinner there. They had plenty of parking,but I think this is because the other wing was on renovation. If both were occupied, I am not sure there would be enough space to park your car. Because of the way the facility is structured, I didn't encounter any other hotel staff except for the prim and proper young receptionist with a rigid smile that was struggling to cover fatigue. Sorry.

Negative: I always ask for a working desk and chair when I go to any of these locations, because its almost always a working holiday for me. All they could give me was a coffee table and some stools that did terrible things to my back and legs. I ended up doing most of my work lying in the bed, which was not so comfortable. I guess nobody goes to Jasper for a working holiday....lol. Housekeeping is on request. That is not bad. But then, they came and didn't even bother to clean the kitchenette. The beds weren't well made. They just changed the towels on the floor, didn't even think of giving the shower a little washdown.

Summary: Not bad. But could be better. Also, don't go to Jasper on a working holiday!!!
