Summary: Delightful situation in picturesque house and gardens. Staff pleasant and friendly though I arrived at the same time as people arriving for a large function so reception staff stretched. The bed was comfy and the room small but pleasant. Could have benefited from a shelf in the bathroom. Dinner was excellent. £21.89 for two medium glasses of ordinary wine was a bit steep. Breakfast was ok, though the chafing dishes needed two heaters to keep the food hot. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.
