Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The emphasis at this hotel is tranquillity, relaxation and exemplary service. Don't expect some of the "bells & whistles" you might get at mainstream 5* chain hotels. Instead the USP here is one of superb customer service, where all of the staff will go out of their way to make sure every aspect of your visit is the best it can be. We had a wonderful stay and I'm sure we will return.
Negative: The food at the hotel restaurant is excellent but the evening set-menu meant that we'd experienced pretty much everything on the menu after a couple of visits. If there had been a bit more variety/the occasional "daily special", then we would have eaten at the restaurant more during our week-long stay.
Summary: Up amongst the best customer service I've experienced!
