Positive: The room was good for a few days. The bead was great. Breakfast was on the top floor and included juice, coffee, eggs, croissant. The staff spoke English well enough to help me with questions when required.
Negative: Even though Booking states that Hotel David accepts Visa/MC, they insisted that I would have to pay 26% extra if I paid with CC. This is a scam and not acceptable. I was low on cash and was forced to go to an ATM and pay the service charge. At least the ATM charge was much lower than Hotel David. Do NOT book this hotel if you have mobility problems. There are many stairs from the street to the hotel and then many stairs within the hotel. No heat or A/C in the room but it was not needed when I was there.
Summary: Good choice near transit but you must pay in cash to avoid surcharge
