The Space
Bahama Breeze is a 5 bedroom/2 bath house with an additional outdoor shower area. Each bedroom is private(not a loft situation). One bedroom is down stairs for convenience with a shared bathroom and the other 4 are upstairs with a bathroom upstairs also. Verandas stretch across the front of Bahama Breeze on both floors with comfortable seating.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire house.
Interaction with Guests
There is a care taker for the house that is from the island of Spanish Wells and will be able to assist you with settling in and any other needs or questions while you are on the island. They will pick you up from the dock when you arrive and take you back when you depart. They can come by and check in with you to see if you need anything or you can call them, whatever you prefer.
The Neighborhood
This is a beautiful island with the friendliest people that you will ever meet. The flowers, beaches, reefs and fishing are excellent and unspoiled by cruise ships with thousands of visitors. This island is a neighborhood that you will become a part of and want to return to. There is very little commercial, tourist activity. If you want to go bar hopping or have hundreds of restaurants to try this is not the island for you. There are restaurants available and most do serve alcohol. If you are looking for a quiet, uncrowded place to relax and detox from the busy life you lead...this is the place that you will return to again and again.
Getting Around
Most places you can walk or use the bikes that are provided to get around. Most people on the island get around using buggies(golf carts). They are available for rent at Andre's Harbourside Rentals and a few other places.
Other Things to Note
There is a restaurant within a two minute walk from the house. A large grocery store with almost anything that you need close by. The pink sand beach is less than a five minute straight walk down the road. Buggies(golf cars) are available for rent at several locations and can be arranged ahead of time if you wish to have one for your stay or you can rent by the day. Two bikes are included with the rental for exploring the island. There is even a Gym on the island and the main road that circles the island is great for an early morning bike ride. Some beach gear is also available. Fresh seafood is available at the harbor. Ronald's seafood or what the fishermen fillet their catch. They will more than likely sell some of their catch to you at an unbelievable bargain.
