Positive: We absolutely loved our stay here! We were traveling by bike and the location was perfect for us—very close to the Cave Temple, and we were easily able to make a day trip to Lion's Rock in Sigiriya from here. The highlight of our stay, however, was the hospitality. They were so warm and welcoming and truly took care of us like we were family. A special mention must go to the food, Nilmini prepared four absolutely amazing meals for us (two dinners and two breakfasts). It was honestly some of the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. If you stay here, you are in for a treat with the food. Nilmini’s mushroom curry is definitely in the running for the best dish we’ve had on our entire trip. We also really appreciated how careful and accommodating she was with our dietary restrictions; we are vegan with a severe peanut allergy, and she catered to us perfectly without any issues. We highly recommend staying here!
