Listen to the call of the loons from a lake that is designated a loon sanctuary. The grounds have been professionally landscaped with several outside sitting areas & a fire pit. To make your stay even more exciting, there are several kayaks to take out on the lake. But, if you are seeking serenity, it can be found simply sitting on the dock and observing the wildlife flourishing all along the shoreline. In the winter, there a fabulous views of the northern lights, ice fishing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing available on the lake or up the road at Government Peak or Hatcher Pass. There is also downhill skiing available at Skeetawk, located at the base of Hatcher Pass.
