Positive: The cottage is well equipped and beautifully presented with lovely thoughtful touches like fresh eggs, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk which is very much appreciated after a long drive! It is perfectly situated in a quiet, rural location with easy access to either coast or moor. The hosts who live next door are so very warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It’s delightful to wake up and see all the resident animals each day and they are obviously very well trained as you never hear them!!

Negative: We would have liked the ability to let our dog out off the lead for a wee on a bit of grass but it was no hardship to take her up the road. We understand with all the resident animals the need for dogs on leads at all times.

Summary: It was cosy, toasty warm and utterly relaxing.
