Summary: The house has huge character. Beautifully traditionally appointed with rustic wooden beams , gorgeous wooden furniture and a perfect dining terrace with view over the infinity pool to the mediterranean sea, Cannes and it's islands. Kiwi's grow on the vine above, indeed there are many fruit trees in the garden which has a variety of interesting plants. The roads to it are good as long as you follow Erick's directions, steep and windy but well surfaced. A small car is absolutely fine. The bakery on Capitou square at the bottom of the hill is excellent and the Carrefour City was for us the best supermarket which is a couple of minites walk from the bakery. For eating with children we liked 'La Cantine du Boulanger' and there is a lovely organic supermarket next to this. Monaco is about an hours drive. Grasse with it's perfume factories was an easy drive away. The house has a very pleasant fragrance - I think it is from the trees surrounding it. Being able to watch the yachts and cruise boats from afar in the early morning on the shining silver the sea is a good way to start the day.
