Summary: Taly, our host was lovely and communication was very good. She didn't speach much English and we didn't speak much French but we managed just fine with Google Translate! Taly was great at sorting out any small issues quickly. The property was very well equipped and clean. We had everything we needed and more. WIFI was very good. The outside area was perfect for relaxing and eating. There is a large electronic awning which was essential for when we stayed as it was very hot and sunny and the sun is in the back of the garden all day long. There are two cats that belonged to the property, which we fed and Taly provided food for. It seems the neighboroughing cats adopted the garden too.! We enjoyed their company. No cats were allowed in the property. The situation of the house was fine for us as we easily travelled to Suisse Normande, Honfleur, Arromanches, Bayeaux. There are two points which are worth mentioning. We were a little surprised that the cleaning fee was 150 euros. This was not mentioned in the description. The description stated that all linens and towels etc were included in the price. We found the fee quite excessive and feel it should have been mentioned in the description. Also, when you first arrive at the property, there is a driveway that slopes downwards which is overgrown and uncared for. At the bottom of the driveway is an old abandoned looking van (I think this is where the cats sleep). It was disappointing at first to see this but actually, when you are sitting in the back garden, it is all out of sight. First impressions were a little worrying though! We had a lovely stay at Taly's property.
