Located across from Hanalei Bay, is the magical Kauikeolani Estate. Mature gardens, expansive lawns, and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond are just a taste of the treasures which awaits you! The home is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was a significant part of the development of Hanalei as a recreation location in the late 19th century and early 20th century. It was built in 1899 in a very energy efficient way, using the natural trade winds to keep the home cool. The house has an outdoor orientation full of large windows and covered outdoor living space with multiple lanais.
This is a Mana Kaua'i Island Vacations home and we follow many practices that support regenerative tourism. We do the work so you don't have to.
