Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The village is lovely, great location for a short trip with lots to do on your doorstep for such a small place (pubs, shops, restaurants, & walks). The accommodation was very nice, felt quite homely with a wood-burning stove, AGA to cook on, and a nice shower/sink room.
Negative: The Toilet was small, cramped & uncomfortable enough I was sometimes just waiting to find somewhere out for the day to use. There was also a fairly large gap around the door, making you feel a bit exposed while using it. While I had fun trying out the AGA it wasn't the easiest to cook on, and I could easily see it being a nuisance for anyone using it to cook for the whole trip or for more than a couple of people. I'd recommend adding an air fryer & maybe a standalone induction hob (just one you can plug in to the wall socket) as alternatives/to supplement the AGA. It'd be a shame to lose it as it's a good selling point (& helped swing it for us when choosing to book).
Summary: Lovely location & house, not so nice toilet.
