Negative: We wished there was some extra attention to detail with the overall cleanliness of the place. When you have to pay a $250 cleaning fee, you expect it to be spotless as well as not having a list of things to do before leaving. The shower wasn’t the cleanest. The base boards were not clean which makes me assume the floors were not cleaned very good. Although we still enjoyed our stay, I feel like the high cleaning fee paired with the condo not being spotless made it feel a little scammy. We could have just stayed at a hotel on the beach that didn’t have a $250 cleaning fee and that was more clean overall. We also felt like there was misinformation given regarding check in. We were given a gate code…but no gate was there to use the code on. One of the reasons we booked the condo was because of safety elements, like a gate and door code. On the 2nd night we were there, we had a random intoxicated individual trying to get into the condo. We are pretty certain he wasn’t staying anywhere around us, but felt like if there was an entry gate as stated, it could have potentially deterred that individual and situation that occurred.
