Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The size of the property suited the 2 families who stayed. The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip. The local choice of shops and takeaways were great. There are miles of beautiful walks behind the house.
Negative: The house was mucky, it canโ€™t have been given a proper clean in a while. The first thing I noticed was that it needed a vacuum, thankfully Iโ€™d taken my small Dyson with me, I filled the dust bin of the Dyson 4 times! The bathroom floors were dirty, it was dusty, there was rubbish in the garden, rubbish shoved in cupboards and drawers, there were only 2 forks so 5 of the party had to use spoons, the toaster was rammed with old crumbs which set the smoke alarm off so we had to clean that out, the sofa was filthy, the table and chairs were falling apart, the blind in the top floor window was on the window cill but installed. We spent ages on the first night trying to connect the WiFi, the details that were provided do not exist. Hint- itโ€™s on the side of the router. This is a lovely house but it needs some TLC and a deep clean.
Summary: Nice house could be a lot nicer.
