Positive: Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but the property has clearly seen better days. It has great potential, which unfortunately feels underutilized at the moment. In our opinion, this is definitely not a 4-star property as listed on Booking. By European standards, it would be more comparable to a guest house rather than a full-service hotel. That said, there are positives worth mentioning. The staff was very kind and welcoming throughout our stay, and we really enjoyed the food in the restaurant. Breakfast was quite basic, but this seems to be standard across the Maldives.
Negative: The photos on Booking don’t fully reflect the current condition of the property. For example, during our stay, the upper terrace was not arranged at all - there were no chairs or umbrellas, making it unusable. The bathroom could use some attention, as it felt a bit neglected (e.g. moldy silicone in places). We also noticed that the bed linen and towels didn’t seem properly washed. Overall, we still had a good experience thanks to the friendly atmosphere and service, but with some improvements, this place could truly match its potential.
