Catch trout on a world renowned stretch of river, kayak, canoe, check out the local eatery’s & bars, or build a warm crackling fire and enjoy s’mores,drinks, and relaxation on your up north adventure. Located just downstream from Barothy Lodge. Our cabin is a quiet, secluded slice of heaven set a mile off the road and right on the Pere Marquette river. Take advantageof the breath taking views and relaxing setting. Activities abound across every season of the year. Hike the many trails of ludington state park (only a 20 minute drive west). Try your luck at the little river casino ( 40 minute drive north). Fish the crystal clear, flowing waters of the world renowned Pere Marquette river. In the winter grab your snow shoes and head out for a peaceful walk around the propertys ten acres. Snowmobileright out of the driveway and on to the endless web of hidden trails that make up the manistee national forest. If a fall color tour is what you are in search of, the forests of the north country are second to none. The list goes on and on. Hunting and giant chinook salmon in the fall. Wild pacific strain steelhead in the spring and winter. Lakes, rivers,streams. Trout, bass, pike and everything in between inhabit the many bodys of water in the area and right on the property!!
