Positive: Loved the breakfast options more than the lunch options. Loved the location as it was away from the "malecon" where all the noise and vendors are at. Very quiet location with a feel of your own private pool, jacuzzi and beach. You're a short 5-10 minute drive from Playa Brujas, Mazagua water park and the malecon. We rented a two-bedroom condo, beautiful view of the beach and pool. Condo had all required kitchen necessities, extra blankets, extra pillows, AC and WiFi. Condo host/manager was wonderful and staff and security guards were very friendly and helpful.
Negative: Only provided one roll of bathroom tissue. Second bathroom did not have hot water. For my own peace of mind, would have liked to have an additional padlock to lock the condo from the inside as well (which wouldn't require an outside key). Both main and back door could be easily unlocked from the outside with an extra set of keys (I traveled with two elderly parents and my 10 year old daughter). The walk to the main road is an approximate two-block drive to get a pulmonia. If you request a taxi, the security guard will request one for you and they are provided access to the complex saving you the two-block walk, with elderly parents, that was very helpful.
Summary: Would absolutely rent another stay.
