"The Sea Haven" is a classy and modern floating house located on the Pacific Ocean within the Vancouver Harbour at Mosquito Creek Marina in North Vancouver, British Columbia. You will be surrounded by the beauty and peacefulness of the ocean’s miracles. Random visits and sightings of the local marine life, which frequent, near, under and around the float home, will bring a smile to your face and entertain you for hours! The random gentle rocking of the float home when the tide comes and goes is subtle. It reminds you that you are on a holiday and your only task is to breath in the fresh ocean air and enjoy the moment! It is a fantastic space to be experienced throughout the full year and in all seasons!
CLOSE TO EVERYTHING:
"The Sea Haven" Float Home is close to downtown Vancouver and other West Coast attractions. It is easy and quick to get to all daily requirements, such as grocery, pharmacy and liquor stores, pubs, restaurants, shopping, breweries, entertainment, and much more. The popular Lonsdale Quay and SeaBus to downtown Vancouver is a 10 minute walk away along the beautiful seawall.
It is not necessary to have a vehicle when you are staying at the float home, public transit is easy and accessible to use.
"The Sea Haven" is located in close proximity to the local North Shore mountains where one can take pleasure in world class mountain bike trails and hikes during all seasons, as well as, ski and snowshoe days in the winter. "The Sea Haven" is an hour and 45 minute drive to Whistler.

Couples, families, solo adventurers, business travelers, honeymooners are invited and welcome to experiences this classy and conveniently located float home. "The Sea Haven" is NOT a party destination and is completely smoke (of any kind) free. The original renter must be over 25 years old.
MARINA LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY:
This floating home was built on the ocean in 2018 and is moored at the modern and safe Mosquito Creek Marina in North Vancouver, which occupies ancestral lands of the Squamish Nation. The ramp and docks to the float home are accessible, wide and stable. The docks do not have railings; thus, children must be supervised to ensure their safety. Once inside the main entrance of the float home, 14 stairs lead up to the kitchen and living area. The bedrooms and 2 of the 3 bathrooms are located on the main floor.
IMPECCABLE STYLE & BREATH TAKING VIEWS!
This high-end floating home is in impeccable condition! Every detail was considered, and only quality furniture and furnishings were chosen. This close to 2,000 square foot floating house has been beautifully designed with everything you need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing and self sufficient get away.
The main floor features a vaulted ceiling, large center island with granite counters, Miele appliances, a 'smart' fridge and wall oven. The kitchen and dining area opens to the expansive living area & outdoor deck. The deck has cozy seating, with a retractable awning and a gas bar-b-q. The ocean, city and mountain views are spectacular and can be seen all around you! You can also get cozy in the Livingroom area by the gas fireplace and watch Netflix on a large flat screen television.
The spa like bathrooms feature European wall mounted toilets, heated towel racks, Nuheat flooring and an indulgent steam shower in the primary ensuite. Enjoy the peace of mind offered by an automatic water shut off system, water filtration & hot water on demand. All towels are provided.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
The float home can sleep 4 people comfortably. The sleeping arrangements include one master bedroom with a king sized high quality comfortable mattress and a full on-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with a bathroom also attached.
CONVIENIENCES OF HOME:
All the conveniences of home are provided so that you can be comfortable and as self-sufficient as you please. The kitchen includes all dishes and cooking supplies, dishwasher, fridge with a large freezer, stove and oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle, air fryer, microwave, and a large dining table.
Also available for use within this suite is a Miele washing machine and dryer. We supply laundry and dish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, linens, bedding and towels. A drawer unit and closet space in the master bedroom is available to store your clothing and belongings.
REMOTE WORKING & INTERNET:
For those working from “home”, a small desk is located in the smaller of the 3 bedrooms. High-speed internet is included in the nightly rate.
PARKING:
Monitored and secured parking for one vehicle is included in the nightly rate and is located only metres away from the docks entrance. You will need to provide your license plate number to the Float Home Manager to utilize the free parking offered. Paid daily parking is available for additional vehicles.
