Summary: The ad for this property was misleading. It stated that it was a waterfront property, which made us think we would be able to access the waterfront. The water was dirty and full of seaweed, at one point staff raked seaweed out of the water and made upwards of 10 huge piles of seaweed on the dock. Almost all of the docks were totally broken or submerged. We did not feel comfortable letting our 3 year old explore near the waterfront, let alone swim. It does not seem fair to call this a waterfront property when the property is in no condition to allow for waterfront activities. There was no one around at check in, nor did we receive check in information at the time that we were told. We requested and paid for a BBQ with propane, there were no staff around and so we had to hunt for propane on the property ourselves. There was open garbage strewn around the park area, as well as cigarette butts which appeared to be from the staff (who we observed smoking near the park earlier). The toilets were dirty, with public hairs on the seats. Long hairs were strewn throughout the cottage on the floor. There was bacon in the oven when we got there. There was also a splatter on the ceiling of something brown/red right above the dining table. The water coming out of the showers smelled slightly of sewage. Multiple people in our party were not comfortable showering. The bathroom sink was not affixed to the wall, making it a safety hazard for small children. Overall, we were hugely disappointed with this stay. The property felt abandoned due to the cleanliness, the condition of the buildings, waterfront and docks, as well as the very few guests present at the resort. We left a day early, will not return, and would not recommend this stay to others. It felt like a waste of money.
