Positive: Staff is excellent. Wonderful communication. Comfortable bed, clean and comfortable room. The upgrades over the past couple years are quite nice. The property is a good size for taking our dog for a walk and there is access to the Thompson River gravel bars to walk and explore. The new owners have a wonderful Chinese restaurant from which they serve wonderful varieties of excellent food. It was quite popular and busy for sit in and take out for the 3 nights we stayed there.
Negative: Well it is on busy highway 5 with a busy train corridor on the other side of the river. However that just adds to the experience knowing that goods and services are flowing through BC. That's on 1of the northbound BC highways. My point is the noise can be a bit harsh if one let's it be, we were not bothered
