Summary: I liked the friendliness of staff, including the housekeeping. I liked the space & the quietness. I liked its environment with convenient shops, rows of street shops opposite, Paradise Walk mall, subway station, healthy breakfast (home cooked), coffee clubs & lots of eateries plus a Jap Restaurant down at the ground floor. The unit we had wasn’t a fanciful one, it faced the office block, but the people who welcomed us, who cleaned it well as well as helping us resolve dryer issue were excellent. We slept with peace. We had good sleep! At breakfast, the lady staff will recommend Hangzhou food to us, also their freshly brewed but unsweetened soya bean milk & steamed Chinese yam. The kitchen made a bowl of wanton soup with smooth wanton skins for us...hot but wholesome to eat in that cold weather! Appreciate their warmth & kindness. Lots of genuine smiles, greetings & service. Very quick check-in & check-out. Will definitely revisit Shama if we are in Hangzhou.
