Positive: We came to Bornholm for our wedding with just our parents, it was the first time on the island for all of us, and from the very first moment, the hotel felt like visiting family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, from reception to the restaurant, every single person. On the wedding day itself, the hotel even surprised us with a gift! Breakfast was absolutely amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, and the sea view from the dining room just made it even more special. But the biggest surprise came completely by accident. On our first evening, we came into the restaurant quite late without a reservation. The gentleman we assumed was the manager kindly found us a table for six. We ordered the two-course menu, which was delicious, and he recommended a Riesling for the parents, they loved it so much they all immediately said yes (already a miracle with 4 60+ year olds). Then he casually offered to show them the wine cellar. Turns out, this incredibly humble man was none other than Pontus Elofsson – the legendary sommelier of Noma! We were speechless. This hotel is simply full of wonderful surprises.
Negative: - In my parent's room on the ground floor rooms, the WiFi didn’t work - Our room on the second floor didn’t have any storage space, while the other two rooms had closets... - A fan would have been really nice, as it stayed pretty warm even at night
