This home is a real gem! Ideal for short term stays or 30 days+ bookings. Great for corporate housing, people in relocation transition, families that are displaced due to remodeling, extended stay situations or just fun Portland getaways. The home is located in Laurelhurst - one of Portland's classic neighborhoods. The house was recently updated and now features hardwood throughout the house, a smart thermostat (Nest), an electronic doorbell (Ring) for safety, a Sonos system that can be utilized from any guest wireless device and the fastest high speed internet possible for residential use. There are 4 TVs featuring YouTub TV/Roku allowing access to local channels and all premium channels and a fully equipped media room. The home is close to downtown Portland (1.5 miles from downtown), near multiple great dining & shopping areas, on the bus line (transit stop right across the street), near the MAX line and stop - and is a quick jaunt to the Convention & Moda Center. The house is approximately 4,000 square feet, three levels and fully furnished and set up with all necessary modern amenities and kitchenware. There are three great outdoor spaces in the front, on the side porch and the back patio which has two BBQs. The backyard is fully enclosed and has two outdoor dining/relaxing areas. Summary: The pros were: location, location, location (neighborhood is great), size of house was comfortable for our family and fur babies. Stephanie was a great host, the kitchen was well stocked.The cons were: The house could use an update inside and out mainly for safety reasons. There were a lot of stairs that could use some railing outside, especially with leaves falling and having to sweep them away to not slip. It's in need of repairing cracks outside too. The driveway hedges could use a good trim, so you can better fit on the driveway. One portion on the top flight going upstairs could use a railing too. Other than that the stay was a success!
