Positive: We had a beautiful Basque vacation outside of city centres and central to all of our interests for exploration. With Biscay bay an hour and a half away, and Rioja a half an hour we enjoyed driving through the Pyranees mountains and incredible forests along the way. This was time spent relaxing and having a wonderful change of pace. There were caves and dolmans to explore, delicious cuisine and long lunches, the Basque know how to live. Our host Iciar was our best yet. She was so helpful when we arrived and available whenever needed through WhatsApp. We still felt like we had complete privacy but it was nice knowing she was there with any requests we may have. She has a wonderfully decorated space just to relax and get away and also offers extra perks like gin and tonics after a day out. I highly recommend Suite Currie and look forward to returning.
