Summary: Stayed here during a recent family trip to Tobago. Despite the dated look of the suite that is in dire need of repairs and and refresh, we really loved staying here and found it very comfortable. The split level that separated bedrooms and the kitchen was a big plus. Our little boys loved the pool downstairs which they mainly had for themselves. The place just had a nice feel to it. The location was also safe, very quiet and convenient enough to walk to the beach and restaurants at Store Bay and also to Swallow's Beach. We even managed to walk to Pigeon Point Heritage Park - took us about 45 minutes which was a nice walk as soon as you left the main street. The biggest reason that will make us stay at Summerland Suites again was the service we got from the front office staff - Jennifer. She was so invaluable! The amount of times we asked her for something (turning on the water, towels, toiletries, tourist questions, taxi to the ferry etc.) she was always very responsive and helping us all with a smile. This hotel is past its prime but that can be overlooked if you get a comfortable stay with amazing service - this is what we got. Thanks to Jennifer for all her friendly assistance - we sincerely appreciate it!
