Summary: This cottage is is super comfortable/clean, in a great location, with nice amenities to boot. I hosted a bachelor party for my best friend, and everyone kept saying how great the place was. You walk in, and it's exactly what you expect all the best parts of lake cabin should be. We spent a ton of time hanging out around the fire pit. It's also a 2 - 12 minute drive from anything you'd want to do in Shawano. There's a supper club across the street that has live music on Saturday nights, as well a family owned dive bar that's perfect for a laid back, late night beer. Some of the other things I appreciated were the amount of extra towels, lots of fans and three A/C units, all the kitchen utensils you'd need, and comfortable furniture. I would definitely come back with my family for a relaxing weekend in the fall or winter too.
